I'm Confident This Arcane Season 2 Fight Will Be Even Better Than Jinx vs. Ekko (2024)

Netflix's Arcane became popular for its wonderful storytelling and stunning visuals, but one upcoming fight in season 2 will be even better than the cinematic masterpiece between Jinx and Ekko. With Arcane season 2's high-stakes war setting up plenty of battles between the show's central characters, one impending clash looks set to be the most captivating contest yet. Season 1 had some wonderful showdowns throughout its nine action-packed episodes, but nothing managed to contend with Jinx vs. Ekko, as the two former friends crossed paths in one of the best animated battles I've ever seen despite being swift.

The fight featured breathtaking animation, vibrant artistic styles, and a high-tempo piece of music that helped make Ekko and Jinx's conflict extremely memorable. I also admired the way they incorporated the characters' history into the short duel, with the transitions between past and present adding to how much they'd both changed. There was a playful yet tragic tone to their brawl that makes it stand out so much; however, with season 2 set to end Arcane's critically acclaimed story, I'm confident an even more heartbreaking skirmish will not only match the quality of Jinx vs. Ekko but also surpass it.

Vi Vs. Jinx Will Be Even Better Than The Gorgeous Battle Between Jinx & Ekko

Arcane Season 2's Final Fight Will Eclipse The Cinematic Spectacle Of Jinx Vs. Ekko

Although Jinx vs. Ekko was a visual marvel, I truly believe Vi vs. Jinx will up the quality even more. Jinx and Ekko's fight set an incredibly high bar, but everything that made the showdown so good will be present between the two sisters and there will be an even deeper connection. With three years passing between installments, Arcane season 2's animation should be even better than the first outing, meaning there will be an abundance of great shots to admire. In addition, their conflict will likely last much longer than Jinx and Ekko's, providing more to get invested in.

While most of Arcane's battles stem from a long-standing hatred, Jinx and Vi's feud originates from a place of love, as the duo once had a strong connection. Their devastating childhood brought them closer together, but after Vander's death, the two diverged down completely different paths which put them on opposite sides of the show's major war. Therefore, seeing them finally standing toe-to-toe and potentially fighting to the death will easily be Arcane's most entertaining clash, and I think the emotion and history behind Vi vs. Jinx will make it even more enjoyable than Jinx vs. Ekko.

Why Vi & Jinx’s Fight Is Arcane’s Most Important Scene

The Sisters' Showdown Has Been Building Since The Very First Episode

Jinx and Vi's final stand will be Arcane's most important scene, given how long the series has spent building up to that very moment. Although there are plenty of other important storylines throughout the show, such as Vi and Caitlyn's romance, the war between Piltover and Zaun, as well as the saga with Hextech, Vi and Jinx's turbulent relationship is at the heart of Arcane. Watching the sisters' heartwarming bond from when they were kids sour before turning hostile has been tough to watch but also compelling, hence why their inevitable fight will feel so emotional.

Vi and Jinx's heartbreaking story has been essential to making Arcane one of Netflix's best-ever shows, and the series has to provide them with a fitting send-off. Giving them a long, drawn-out battle filled with grueling dialog, brutal violence, and stellar animation is exactly what I expect from their showdown, and I believe Arcane will deliver. While there may be future League of Legends shows in the coming years, Arcane is all about Vi and Jinx's contrasting journeys and how they dealt with their trauma, proving their final fight will be the show's most pivotal scene, and I can't wait.
